April 2016 Love Street Breezes
Our 8th issue is posted here for your viewing & downloading pleasure.
With only three people to do the layout—three people who have their regular jobs and families to attend to—we can’t get the magazine done to the exact schedule we would like. It takes a lot to put together this magazine. So if there is anyone in the Baba world familiar with inDesign (the software program we use to layout the magazine) and would like to volunteer their time to helping with this very popular Baba magazine, we’d love to hear from you!
The 5th issue tells the surprising news that Meher Baba had told Francis Brabazon of many changes He wanted Francis to make in God Speaks, but they were never made.
The 4th issue covers in depth the Golden Anniversary of what Meher Baba called the most important event in His incarnation: The 1962 East West Gathering.
The 3rd issue of the Breezes was a memorial to our dear Meheru, the last of Baba’s women Mandali. There are many beautiful photos of this wonderful woman, the niece of Baba's beloved Mehera, and a host of heartfelt stories from Baba lovers who were lucky enough to have spent time with her.
The 2nd issue, May 2012, was a tribute to the last of Meher Baba’s Western Mandali – Don Stevens. We received some beautiful stories and photos from friends of The Don. If you knew this wonderful man you will love catching up with the stories, but if you have only just heard about him, and weren’t lucky enough to have actually spent time with him, you will really enjoy ‘meeting’ him in these articles.
Our Premiere issue has a deeply researched and extensive article on Meher Baba and the Petroleum Connection. I requested this from our brilliant researcher after the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that destroyed so much of the coastline of the southern United States. It has uncovered some stunning information - a must read!
For submissions, please do not send hard copies, we request all articles (or stories) be emailed to me: firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you need to send a printed photograph, please put your address sticker on the back so we can make sure it gets back to you.
In His love,
